FIXGEN Dry Syrup
FIXGEN Dry Syrup contains Cefixime Oral Suspension IP 50 mg/5 ml and is formulated as a dry syrup for reconstitution before use. Once reconstituted with sterile water as directed, it forms an oral suspension suitable for administration according to medical advice.
Additionally, the formulation comes with an orange flavour for convenient administration. However, the product should only be used according to the dosage and duration recommended by a registered medical practitioner.
Composition
Each 5 ml of reconstituted suspension contains:
- Cefixime Trihydrate IP equivalent to Anhydrous Cefixime – 50 mg
- Excipients – Q.S.
- Flavoured base – Q.S.

Directions for Reconstitution and Use
First, shake the bottle to loosen the powder. Then, add the required quantity of sterile water as directed. After that, shake the bottle thoroughly to obtain a uniform suspension.
Before each use, shake the reconstituted suspension well. Additionally, use the product only according to the dosage and duration recommended by a registered medical practitioner.
Storage Instructions
Store in a cool and dry place below 25°C. Additionally, protect the product from light and moisture. Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
