SKINZONE-K5 OINTMENT is a topical combination containing Ketoconazole, Neomycin Sulphate, Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline, Tolnaftate and Clobetasol Propionate. The formulation combines antifungal, antibacterial and corticosteroid components and is intended for use in specific inflammatory or infected skin conditions only as prescribed by a qualified healthcare professional.
Ketoconazole and Tolnaftate provide antifungal activity, while Neomycin Sulphate provides antibacterial action. Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline has antimicrobial properties, and Clobetasol Propionate is a potent topical corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation, redness and itching.
Because Clobetasol is a high-potency corticosteroid, this ointment should not be used routinely, for prolonged periods, or on the face/groin without medical advice.
