OFDOSE-OZ Each film-coated tablet contains Ofloxacin 200 mg and Ornidazole 500 mg, a combination offering antibacterial and antiprotozoal action. Ofloxacin disrupts essential enzymes involved in bacterial DNA replication, whereas ornidazole damages genetic material within susceptible anaerobic microorganisms and protozoa. The combination is particularly useful when gastrointestinal illness may involve mixed microbial causes.
